How laser tattoo removal works

Tattoos consist of thousands of ink particles suspended in the skin, which are too big to be removed by the body. The Biocare-ink uses advanced Q-Switched technology to deliver nanosecond pulses with a high peak power, resulting in a photo-disruptive effect on the target inks. This causes the ink particles to fragment into smaller pieces that can be removed naturally by the body’s lymphatic system. Throughout a course of treatments, patients can expect to see the unwanted tattoo fade and disappear as it is safely and permanently removed.
